Good golly, it's been a rough few months for me health-wise. I ended up putting my Etsy shop on vacation mode and missing out on peak pet stocking season because I'd just been too sick to commit. For a while I ignored this website and my quilt patterns too, mostly because of depressive disinterest.
But here I am at last - writing a post, updating the site, and announcing that my premier quilt patterns will be ready for release in February! Yay!

The first two will be "Fintastic Fish" and the "Friendship Ribbon" quilt. I am SO EXCITED to release my fish quilt on the world and to see what you all do with it. You could make the fish a rainbow of colors like the neon GloFish at the pet stores, or they could all be goldfish like mine.
The pattern includes mini, crib, throw, and twin size instructions. The picture here is of the throw version. Each block is sixteen inches, so they're big fish!
I finally registered my DBA with the state, but I still have so much still to do before I officially start this business. I need to put the legal pages on my website, start a pinterest account, finalize my virtual PO box, and much more.
Of course, I also need to start getting additional patterns ready for release, the first of which will be a mountain sunrise, which was requested by my good friend Aaron. I also have a cat jack-o-lantern in progress for the fall.
I also plan to write instructional posts and maybe do some videos, time and energy allowing.
Anyway, thanks for reading - I'm glad you're here! Make sure to check out my "Favorite Things" page for the fabulous gear I recommend to help you with the craft.
