Given how challenging my health has been lately, and how busy I've been with the quilt pattern writing course, I really wasn't at all convinced that I'd be doing pet stockings this year. In fact, I had all but decided against it. However, I think with enough Adderall in the morning (not lying, haha), I should be able to manage. And if it gets to be too much, I can always put my shop back on vacation mode.
This will be my fourth or fifth year of making these, and honestly hopefully my last. I love the joy that they bring to people, but they are a bit labor intensive and messy (velvet gets fuzz everywhere), and if I can reclaim the half of my sewing room closet currently devoted to storing the supplies, all the better!
I don't think I'm forever finished with stockings entirely though. I'd love to make full-size quilted ones at a more leisurely pace in future years. If I sold them, they would cost a lot more than these little ones do.
If you're interested in ordering pet stockings, please visit my Etsy shop: earlybirdmakery.etsy.com where you can view all of the colors and fonts available. And if you want to see a preview of any of the fonts, I'll be happy to generate that and send it along for you to review!

Anyway, I'd love to do more work on my website today, but I've worn myself out trying to figure out the settings and how to use the templates, so this will have to do.
Welcome to my site, welcome to this adventure, and I hope you'll stick around!
